Website Updates and Stories from the Vault
It has been…a long time to say the least. There’s a post from a few months ago about my path to law school but that aside, one might think I had forgotten that this website existed.
No, I haven’t forgotten about this blog, exactly, but I also haven’t been anything resembling consistent about posting here. There have been a LOT of changes in my life recently, many of which I do not care to share with the Internet.
I’ve been spending time evaluating who I am, who I’ve been, and who I want to be. One of the biggest shifts in my life is that this fall I will begin a part-time four year commitment to getting my JD. Yep. You read that correctly. Your friendly neighborhood nerd has decided to go to law school. And honestly? It’s been a long time coming. You can read all about it in the post linked above.
You might have noticed that the title of this post is teasing the release of some stories from the vault. This is because in my course of figuring out what I want to do with my life I’ve been digging through old files of mine, and I think I’ve found some interesting treasures to share.
Over the next few weeks, in prescheduled posts coming out on Friday mornings, I’ll be releasing a series of written that include some of this older content. Some I’ll be posting completely as-is; others I will be making small edits and/or annotations to account for the fact that some of the writing I’ll be sharing is from over a decade ago. Some of it’s poetry, some of it’s ramblings, some of it gets philosophical, other times I’m just silly.
As for those of you waiting for more of the Percy Jackson Project, or curious about my reviews of some of the other books I’ve been reading…I’ll get around to it. Probably. Law school is hard my friends. This website needs to be updated in a lot of ways and in a lot of places, so don’t be surprised to see changes in the future.
In any case, this blog has always been a chaotic jumble of text. Thanks to everyone who’s stayed on for the ride—there’s absolutely more to come.
Blessed Be,
Talia
